For a more advanced nipple clamps are the Clover clamps. These can be referred to as butterfly clamps and Japanese clamps as this is the origin of their design. The spring mechanism used in the clamps is very unique. It gets stronger the more it is pulled or weighted down. They have a very small area of grip with a plastic rough pad which grips very well and will not let go easily. I have had up to 3kg weights on each nipple with these not giving way making them extremely strong with a very high pinch level.

The clamp itself is flat and measures around 5x10 cm.

If left on the nipple to long, these clamps can cause considerable irritation, upon release a sharp sensation of pain will hit the wearer for a short time as blood flow is released back into the nipple and sensitivity is made considerably higher. At the medium price tag these clamps range between £10 and £20 on average depending on supplier. They are fun to use in predicable bondage as if the user moves and pulls the chain the nipple clamps bite down harder.

I would not recommend to start out with these on the novice or beginner. If a bad experience is given first time on the nipples it is often hard to shake it mentally and therefore the person trying will be reluctant to try again in the future.

Cleaning these clamps is also difficult due to how complex they are. The small surface which is against the nipple is usually made to be slightly bumpy to aid with grip.

TIP: If you remove the chain, you can use these clamps to attach longer chains or used just for weights or a range of multi purpose use. I have also used these to attach to female labia for weights.
